A Proud Moment: Flying Officer Rashika Sharma Makes History at Red Fort

A Proud Moment for India!

On 15th August 2025, Flying Officer Rashika Sharma, an alumna of All Saints’ Church Sr. Sec. School, Jaipur, created history as she stood alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hoist the national flag from the iconic Red Fort during India’s 79th Independence Day celebrations.

Rashika completed her schooling at All Saints’ Church School, pursued her Master’s in Psychology from Maharani College, and was also a state-level basketball player. With determination and dedication, she joined the Indian Air Force and played a distinguished role in Operation Sindoor.

Her inspiring journey—from the classrooms of Jaipur to the ramparts of the Red Fort—symbolizes the spirit of “Naya Bharat”: resilience, courage, and dedication.
